Hello, my name is Karen and I joined the Chilled Team though the 'Chilled Academy' .Their patient teaching helped me reflect on my bad habits and correct my mistakes. Backed with theory on best driving practice, this helped me move forward to teach others these skills effectively.

I am a fully qualified post 14+ tutor. I gained teaching experience prior to becoming a driving instructor, mainly in teaching Childcare to Nursery Practitioners. I have also taught many other subjects including Functional Skills and Safeguarding. As well as Teaching I also love to learn and have many qualifications in several different subject areas, including being a qualified Chef.

When I am not teaching, I love to cook and decorate celebration cakes.

When I get inspired, I like to go to the gym, swim and play badminton.

Some of my learners have described me as extremely calm and patient, working with them to meet their own needs, learning styles and timescales. Whether you're a nervous driver or a quick learner, I can tailor a plan to meet your individual needs.
