On completing 31 years as a Police officer, it was time to move on and look for anotherinteresting and rewarding career.

After attending a number of ‘Chilled Young Driver’ days with my son and seeing the interaction between the young people and their instructors it made me realise that being a driving instructor was exactly the right fit for me moving forward.

Having discussed the role with Alan and a number of the instructors at the ‘Young Driver’ days I made the decision to join the Chilled Academy and start my new journey.

The experience to date has been excellent and I can’t rate the support I have had enough.

Helping someone obtain a life skill which will stay with them for their entire lives is a real buzz and I’m pleased to be in a position to provide this support and expertise.

Outside of work I enjoy working on cars, visiting the gym (not as often as I should), volunteering at the local rugby club as a first aider and spending time with the family.
